Barbeque tips
We want you to enjoy the barbeque equipment from Cadac and as such we share a few important barbeque tips with you.
Replace gas burners which do not function optimally
If one of the gas burners doesn’t operate as it should, you will get uneven heat distribution. Rather than leaving it and thus endangering the success of a good cook-out check your gas burners at least once every six months.
Starting the fire
Our gas barbeque units come with easy piezo ignition, but if you are using a charcoal braai then you can use our fire lighter with its extended head and you can also use the fire express which makes it easy to quickly start your fire without having to blow for a long time. We make it easy to start the fire ensuring an enjoyable barbeque right from the start.
Why charcoal is better for a smoked taste
Wood has a lot of impurities which may taint the taste of the meat. To have a smoky taste without a tainted undertone, we recommend our charcoal braai equipment which also ensures clean barbequing without fats dripping or ash blowing all over the world.
Marinating
The meat is only as good as the marinating done. A golden rule is to make the mixture of oil and vinegar proportions equal. A second important rule is to prevent overpowering the marinate with too many spices. Too spicy will spoil the meat taste and you don’t want guests to wonder what taste they should saver.
A good barbeque starts with the right equipment. We recommend that you browse through our online catalogue to view the various braai utensils and barbequing equipment.
